This Privacy Policy explains how Pekogo (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our website and services (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

Depending on how you use Pekogo, we may collect:

• Account information — username, password (stored securely hashed), optional profile details (country, birthday, gender, avatar URL).
• Gameplay & progress — games you play, recent activity, favorites, scores, challenge progress, and similar engagement data.
• Guest / local data — if you play without signing in, some preferences and recent games may be stored in your browser (e.g. localStorage).
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for sign-in sessions, preferences, analytics, and advertising (see below).

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve the portal and games
• Create and manage accounts, leaderboards, and daily challenges
• Remember preferences, favorites, and continue-playing progress
• Communicate about support requests and important Service notices
• Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the Service secure
• Show advertising that helps keep Pekogo free
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising (including Google AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense and other ad partners to display ads. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Where required, we may present a consent banner (CMP) so you can choose advertising options.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers — hosting, databases, content delivery, email, and analytics needed to run Pekogo (for example Cloudflare infrastructure).
• Advertising partners — as described above.
• Legal / safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Pekogo and our users.

6. Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Guest data stored in your browser remains until you clear it. Logs and backups may be retained for a limited period for security and operational reasons.

7. Your choices & rights

• Update profile information while signed in
• Clear guest data by clearing browser storage
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by emailing admin.pekogo@gmail.com
• Manage advertising cookies via your browser and Google Ads Settings / our consent tools where available

If you are in a region with additional privacy rights (for example the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), contact us and we will help honor applicable requests.

8. Children’s privacy

Pekogo is a general-audience casual games portal. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (including hashed passwords and HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password for your account.

10. International processing

Pekogo may process data on servers located in different countries (including via Cloudflare). By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Pekogo after updates means you accept the revised policy.
